Nevada was our first stop, in Vegas it was surreal. Being from Medford Oregon, we very rarely see buildings higher than 3 stories. But in Vegas, you couldn't see the top of buildings AT ALL. And there was advertising everywhere, on buildings, on trucks, even a t.v on a round pillar. One of the MANY things we did in Vegas was Circus Circus, in Circus Circus there were performing acrobats and arcade games galore with the lighting of a casino ( you know, the flashy yellow and neon lights) it was truly a spectacle to be had.
After a long day of driving to reno my family and I went on a walk down the streets of reno, and took a picture in front of the reno sign, it was beautiful with the neon light glimmering in the foggy darkness as the city lights twinkled in the background, it was quite special.
In Vegas we also wanted to do the more touristy things around the city so we looked it up and took advice from some people and went to the Seven Magic Mountains. Now with that name you’d think it was spectacular or something, but no. There were large boulders painted neon colors. Now for some of you it may be cool or something you would like to see, but for me, it wasn’t my thing. As we go further into the united states I WILL keep you in touch with my thoughts and opinions. And thank you for even taking the time out of your day to read this...
